"Leigh Art Trail: nurturing new talent"

The Leigh Art Trail is delighted to announce an exciting sponsorship opportunity for new artistic talent.

For one year, you could benefit from heavily subsidised studio space right in the heart of Leigh, working alongside established artists.

Not only will you be able to take advantage of a strong artistic support network, but the resulting body of work will be exhibited in Leigh as part of the annual Leigh Art trail next year. In return, you'll also gain valuable experience from involvement with the longest-running art trail in the region.

Tricia North of the Leigh Art Trail association comments: "This opportunity really reflects the philosophy of the Trail. It's the start of a legacy plan to encourage and develop artists who'll then go on to represent home-grown art in the wider world".

The opportunity is open to artists of any age and has been made possible by the generous legacy of Yvonne Pedretti.
