About The Trail

This year the Leigh Art Trail will be from Saturday 12th - Sunday 20th  June.

For the first time, a special venue will exhibit every artist on the trail, all under one roof. STORM CREATIVE is the gallery for this year's preview and a visit is essential before you head on the trail. The exhibition takes place 3rd-20th June at 1727-1729 London Road, Leigh on Sea, SS9 2SW. Open everyday 10am-4pm

The Leigh Art Trail was founded in 1987 as a community of artists who share a passion for their work. Operating as a co-operative, every year they invite the public the opportunity to walk around the delightful fishing town of Leigh On Sea to not only view their work, but to explore the town, its historic landmarks and its many studios and independant shops.

The Leigh Art Trail aims to stimulate excellence and innovation in the visual arts and promotes lifelong learning in, through and about the arts. It encourages access to arts and artistic expression for the widest range of people, and seeks to sustain and stimulate growth in the region’s cultural economy.

The Leigh Art Trail is an organisation run entirely by artists and supporters of the arts whose time and expertise is given freely to ensure a successful event.
